Discover Koh Phangan.
The quiet side of the island.
More than an island.
Koh Phangan is often known for its Full Moon Party. But the island we fell in love with is something entirely different — hidden coves reached on foot, jungle roads that climb toward viewpoints no guidebook mentions, and sunsets that last far longer than you expect.
From the wild beaches of the north coast to the quiet fishing village of Chaloklum, from waterfalls hidden deep in Phaeng National Park to the candlelit restaurants of Hin Kong — this is the island we want you to see, beyond what most visitors ever find.
This is the Koh Phangan we want to share with you.
Hidden Beaches
Not all beaches are created equal. North and east of the island, past the last paved road, lie stretches of sand that most visitors never reach — Bottle Beach, Than Sadet, the wild coast beyond Haad Yuan.
Dining by the Sea
Our favourite places to eat. Three addresses we keep coming back to, each one facing the water — a beach bar on Secret Beach, a family spot on Hin Kong, an evening of live music at L’Alcove.
Beyond the Beaches
Waterfalls, viewpoints and island adventures. Phaeng’s jungle trails, the Bottle Beach lookout, Sail Rock beneath the surface — the parts of Koh Phangan that have nothing to do with the sand.
Best Time to Visit
Four seasons, four different villas. Clear skies and crowds from December to March, the quiet warmth of April to June, the overlooked calm of July to September, and the deep green of the rainy months.

This is where you come back to.
After the beaches, the sunsets, the dinners under the palms — you come back to Villa Altura. The pool is still warm. The light is gold. Everything is quiet.
